Senior Vice President of one of the leading provider of payment automation solutions for the middle market
Boyce Adams is interested in people, and his curiosity about humanity and other cultures have carved his compelling and varied life’s work. From his passion for travel to his interest in politics, or his commitment to community service to his desire to assist people in better understanding and leveraging technology, helping people has always been the core of what Adams strives to do. A strong believer in letting his interests guide him, Adams has traveled to 135 countries, explored the skies as a pilot and the seas as a diver and sailor, worked in the White House, and run the FinTech industry’s largest accounting software firm.
Boyce Adams formerly served as the Senior Vice President of BankTEL, a software firm that works with one in four of the United States’ 5,000 banks. He joined the company full-time as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2009, helping the firm improve its internal processes and strategic planning, and ultimately securing more than 1,200 new clients globally.
Previous Experience
Prior to BankTEL, Boyce Adams worked in George Bush’s White House where he collaborated with the Federal Reserve, the Department of the Treasury, and other key government agencies, to make senior government appointments to finance and regulatory agencies. He also helped advise the administration on its response to the 2008 financial collapse.
During his tenure in politics, Boyce Adams also drew from his experience as a certified flight instructor and a pilot with over 3,000 flight hours to advise Federal Aviation Administrator Bobby Sturgell. In this role, Adams helped modernize the National Airspace System into its current configuration, the Next Generation Transportation System, or NextGen. NextGen comprised the FAA-led initiative to make aviation safer and more environmentally friendly by leveraging cutting edge technologies, research, and innovation. Prior to his work with the FAA, Adams served as a global strategist for American Airlines.
Boyce Adams entered politics as a means to broaden his community service efforts. He is an active member of a number of nonprofits and boards, and is especially proud of his work with Children’s Project International, a US-based organization that assists many of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable children in obtaining basic necessities. Adams has been instrumental in the organization’s work in India, and has helped them raise nearly $30 million. He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University, which awarded him the coveted Ingram Scholarship, an honor bestowed on students that combine their career aspirations with an impressive track record of volunteerism and community involvement. He still combines his interests in service, politics, and technology by serving as a frequent speaker on issues such as cyber defense and border security.
